“The true value of our lives is the measure by which we have learned to love and serve others.” The principles of leadership mean nothing if we ultimately do not employ them to actually lead others and help them improve the quality of their lives. Unfortunately, many people do not have the luxury of being able to focus their time and energy on self-awareness and emotional intelligence because they are struggling to feed themselves, find shelter and protection, and cover their basic needs. For this reason, I created The Stepping Up Foundation, so that I could “help guide the vision and development of people and organizations in need.” I am happy to report that we can, and will, have a significant impact on the lives of people who really need our help. Working with charitable organizations across the country that work directly with shelters for abused women and the homeless, for every single person that subscribes to the online coaching program, we will provide a free scholarship to a woman in a shelter, a homeless person, or a man or woman in prison.
